| TRIPLE B DANES PUPPY CONTRACT

| The following agreement is between Bill Crawford, Triple B Danes, hereafter referred to as "Breeder" and ______________________, hereafter referred to as "Buyer", for the sale and purchase of one purebred dog of the Great Dane breed. Breeder does hereby agree to sell the_________________________dog of the Great Dane breed, Sired by:_________________________________AKC Reg. #________________ out of Dam:__________________________ AKC Reg.# _____________, whelped on the__________day of _______________, 20___, and of AKC Litter Reg.#_______________. The agreed purchase price of $___________ includes a $300 dollar non-refundable deposit. In the event that the buyer is unable to keep the dog or provide an appropriate home in accordance with the following agreement, the dog will be returned to the breeder at the buyer's expense. The buyer agrees to keep the breeder informed as to the health and well-being of the dog no less then every three months for the first year of life, including but not limited to emails, letters, and/or photos. 1. Puppies must be examined by a licensed Veterinarian within 72 hours after receipt (at buyer's expense). If the vet finds the puppy to be medically deficient with a life threatening or serious concern, the breeder's vet will examine the puppy and both must agree on the problem. Upon the condition that the puppy received good care while in the buyer's possession, the breeder reserves the right to replace the puppy or refund the purchase price for the puppy (less the deposit). 2. Buyer agrees to provide good quality nutrition to the puppy and to follow feeding guidelines to ensure proper growth and health. The puppy should be fed a high quality puppy food for large breed dogs (such as Nutro or Eagle Pack). It should contain between 23-25% protein and no more than 12-15% fat to ensure proper bone growth. After four months, the diet should be switched to a large breed adult dog food with the same levels of protein. A large breed formula has the proper mix of proteins and minerals such as glucosamine and chrondoitin that are necessary for the fast development of the Great Dane Breed. Failure to do so, renders the warranty null and void. 3. The breeder warranties the puppy against genetic heart and hip disease for two years. If the puppy is diagnosed with either condition, a letter has to be sent from a licensed, qualified veterinarian. Upon receipt of the letter, the buyer will return the puppy at his/her expense and will receive a replacement puppy from the next available litter. No refunds will be given except for items stated in #1. This warranty is for the original purchaser of the puppy. The Buyer will need to supplement the puppy's diet with NuVet vitamins for good nutrition for the first year of life. The contact information is: NuVet Plus 1-800-474-7044 (Order Code #28125). After the first year, the buyer is no longer required to give this vitamin and may cancel the purchase if desired. The warranty on the puppy will be void if the NuVet vitamin supplement is not given as described. This benefits the puppy's overall health as well as coat, teeth, bones, and immunities. 4. Buyer agrees to maintain dog in a humane environment and properly train and care for it. The buyer ensures that the dog will be properly licensed and inoculated against rabies, distemper, parvo virus, and other communicable diseases as recommended by a qualified veterinarian. 5. Breeder guarantees that the puppy is in good health at the time of pick-up and has had at least one set of shots. Shot record will be given at time of receipt. 6. The breeder states that the puppy is happy and well adjusted. Temperment is not guaranteed, however, all puppies are handled from birth to ensure they receive the correct amount of socialization. Shipping (if necessary) is approximately $400 extra, this includes the health certificate, travel crate, and other shipping costs.
